Is there a Yamaha BB club? There is now!

Which Nordstrands are those? How's the sound compared to original pickups? I'm asking because my BB435 has started to sound slighly tame after having mostly played my BBP35 in recent months.
These are the NP5Fa precision and the bridge is a Big Split that had to be routed. I initially had the Nordstrand NJ5FS in the bridge which sounded good, and was quiet but I wanted a little more output from the bridge pickup. I’m going to sell the Jazz bridge pickup if interested lmk! I’d say that the Soapbar really is a more full sound as compared to the Jazz pickup being just an accent to the precision pickup

Yamaha announced two new colours for the 734/5, available here in Europe. Fired red and indigo blue. I like both.

Right I thought the same thing it looks the same color as Hooky’s bass. Nice!
It's not often I find myself really admiring artist special editions, but I really liked the BBPH. The color is beautiful of course, reminiscent of the classic Gibson dark cherry SG, and it even went on the back of the neck. I also like the reverse P configuration a lot. That's something that might entice me to upgrade if it's part of a future iteration of main line BB basses.

I’d also be enticed by a reverse P BBP. It worked well on the 70s/80s BBs.

Saw a video back in the earlier thread about Average White Band and mentioned Alan Gorrie playing the BB3000. I think that was from 1988.
Actually it was their other bassist - Rob Aries and it looks like he still rocked it all the way to their last tour this year! I caught one of their last gigs in June at the Newport Beach Jazz Festival.
Now I want to get my hands on one of those bad boys.

I've got a BB2000 on the way.
It's a beater but the price was right.
Not really concerned about the cosmetics but the bridge needs to be swapped out.
Google search didn't turn up much.

I may swap out the tuners at a later date. It's not a priority now.
Do any of you know what bridge would fit this bass? Or a good source for replacement parts for these Yamaha basses?

Congrats! No idea on bridge, but even as a beater, there is no other that sounds quite like a BB2000!
