Is Wearing Sunglasses On Stage Douchey?

If you are doing it to look cool...Maybe. it depends on style I guess. Obviously you wore them purposely to look dou hey.

One time at an outdoor gig I wore a pair of Oakley wraparounds. The sun was directly in our eyes. I felt douchey because nobody else was wearing them but at least I wasn't blinded. The second set the sun was behind us and we were playing under a tent with rear curtains so I didn't wear them.

Being douchey is douchey, not wearing certain items on stage (although there are douchebags that make certain items synonymous with douchiness!) But for people like myself who are sensitive to light it makes playing daytime outdoor venues and brightly lit stages a lot more bearable.
