Is Wearing Sunglasses On Stage Douchey?

I wear sunglasses on stage regardless of the sun because **** everyone’s opinion about it. The lead singer for Sabaton does it, so who cares? Develop your own own unique trademark and costume. Don’t be like those other cucks who just go on stage with a T-shirt looking like an unprofessional school of rock band. Be the next Mötley Crüe, and stop being **** ass band nerds.

Welcome aboard AND congrats on your first post reviving a 6 year old zombie thread! Not a record but you may have a real future here.

Are sunglasses douchey? No

Are tshirts? Also no

Speaking for all the **** ass band nerds, the first sentence in your post about "screw others' opinions" is spot on. But you end in serious douche territory by believing your stage presence is above that of others.

I spy with my little eye an incel that uses the word cuck.

There is a thing such as trying too hard. Seems to me like you're doing it. No need to force it man, some people just look out of place in a leather jacket. Just like some can't rock a tux without looking ridiculous.

Although I'm guessing the poster is female.

Personally speaking, I dislike misuse of the term incel as much as I dislike misuse of the term cuck. Generally speaking they are used by people who don't really know what they mean, to speculate about the lives of people they don't really know, while signalling tribal allegiance.

I'd like to hope that TB doesn't need to stoop to that level.

It's all about context.
Every gig with my country group I'm wearing aviator sunglasses and they're nearly all indoors. They work well with my rock/westernwear look and the BL has a schtick where I am referred to as "Goose" (from Top Gun).
If you want to wear sunglasses probably need to mountains of charisma or have 2 of the following three.
-Overall look that supports them
-Stage schtick that works with them
-Style of music where they don't look out of place.

By comparison, I don't wear sunglasses onstage at Church and except for outdoor gigs I didn't when I was in a pop/alternative group. It's all about context.

I usually wear them. I only have vision in one eye, other eye is completely gone with an empty socket. Due to other issues, my regular glasses are clear prescription lens one side, dark lens on the other side. I need to wear them in order to see; my facial muscles will not longer support a glass or plastic eye, not wearing glasses with a patch is not an option and doctors will not prescribe contacts due to the risk of infection in the good eye. For me, I think sunglasses look better on stage than a pair of glasses with one clear lens and one dark lens.

The guitar player for Kansas wears a patch over one eye and under his glasses. I used to do that but prolonged use of a patch created skin problems so I can no longer do that.
