It Was 50 Years Ago Today...

Happy Aniversary! That’s pretty cool. I wish I would have started when I was a young’ un. I say the same thing about golf. I’ve been playing for 50 years. You’d think I’d be good at it by now. :roflmao:

Ah, golf! I started that before music. Took lessons as a young teen in the early 60s from Olin Dutra (1932 PGA and 1934 US Open winner). I was pretty good. If I would have stuck with it I coulda been a contender. But then the late 60s came along and music, among other things, took priority. ;) Tried picking the game back up several years ago but the swing was gone. :bored:

Take another lesson. Lowest I’ve been is a 10. Getting into single digits is as hard as playing the bass!

Well, 50 years ago, I was 16 months old so I was walking and speaking in sentences - two things I seem to have trouble with now! According to family lore, my first sentence was: "What is THAT?" when presented with my newborn baby sister!

And if you were Gordon Ramsay of “Hell’s Kitchen” fame, your first sentence would have been “WHAT’s THAAAAA?!?”
