That's cool. I've never seen that bass before.

His website is a rabbit hole of stunning multi colored burl tops, quality woods, striking shapes and Aaron Armstrong custom built pickups, with John East preamps. Sadly, as I live in Australia I've never had the chance to try one, but bass playing friends in the UK who have, speak highly of his work. I'm pretty sure a few folks who are members here have his basses.

I much prefer the SC look to the Flying V any day. I'm not dissing the Flying V at all, and I've never owned either. Whether anything is is aesthetically pleasing (regardless of fit for purpose) is in the eye of the beerholder. I'd happily put my money towards a SC if one came my way and I could GAS it.
