Nah... I'm not THAT desperate! ;)
I didn't mean it as desperation, I meant it as "you want it, you pay the price"....let's say this, when we saw the green one on ebay, that was after I had been looking for one for 6 years, and never saw one...when that one came on EBAY---he had the cash, and I didn't or it would be mine.

someone somewhere has one sitting in a closet, and one of these days WE ( me included ) will see another one for sale somewhere in the world !!!

Jackson also made a FB series guitar, that was junk according to the members of JCF, but to have a matching pair would be my ultimate GAS reliever.

I'm going to stir up the Jackson bass thread with my latest addition, a 88 candyapple red 4B.

although nothing really special, you don't ever see 4B's out there.

anyone ever see a blue 2B floating around? cause in order to complete the series. I really want to find a blue one.

I had the active 3-band CMG Concert bass a while ago & found it to be quite nice overall. Very similar playing-wise to an active Fender jazz, but not quite as polished.
I usually say it a lot, C/J basses were never good public sellers for the prime years they actually made em good to begin with...and most people who had them back then and really liked them, moved on in musical choice, and basses usually followed suit.

I saw one of those Jackson Concert Vs at Guitar Satan when I was choosing my first 5 string last summer. It was either a black Concert V (that was pretty well-loved) or a (near mint condition) black Spector Rex Brown and I chose the Spector. Now, I would have chosen differently, but I still love my Spector.

Not long thereafter, I got a blue 3B and I love it to death:

I'm currently saving up to get a vintage Jackson custom shop Kelly with all the bells and whistles that I dig from an online buddy. :D

Thank you, Mourn! My craving was actually inspired by a picture you posted of your rig and a couple basses--one of them a sexy Mockingbird. Well...that and some 1349 videos :D But seeing that 'bird of yours inspired me a lot and I guess I got lucky finding exactly what I would want if I could call up Jackson and have them make something to my specs.

I don't know, RSB...the only new Jackson I've come in contact with was a CMG 4 string and it didn't impress me. I think the pickups on the John Campbell bass looks pretty cool, but I'd never buy one. It would probably suit you just fine, though, judging from the stuff in your signature.
