to answer some questions....

the 3 JS models on the website are indeed the new ( comeback ) basses that everyone wants -- think Dave Ellefson sigs MINUS the 4grand cost.

Devils38, that tbird went for 2300.00 I.N.S.A.N.E - LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE WANTED IT badly, AND P.S. if he dont pay for it soon, my friend the last bidder will get it.

and finally, MONODEATH, thats a 1999 A-60 Kelly made for the MIJ market only. it was the lowest priced of the A series Grover Kellys. just think of it as a KB1 which it is....and glad you could join this board as I saw you at the other place :)

and one last post before I go to work for the day, here's a recent family pointy shot since I sold off a lot of the "spares" in the past 6 months....

yes the leftys are taking over. and the black body on the speaker is a lefty Jackson warrior copy I didn't put back together yet...hahaha

to amimbari: oww thnks for the info man!!. well here in peru jackson's basses are very rare. there is only one store who sell jackson guitars but i never saw a kelly bass or another weird model and they are very expensive. do u know where to get a kelly jackson bass in USA? or maybe a charvel i really like your red charvel. and wanna know the price too.
one more question... actually jackson sells kelly basses? or just in custom shop?
thnks!!

the red charvel is a 1991 Eliminator 5. it was not available in the catalog, just a unit that they made a handful of, then said no to mass production because the concert-5 was more traditional p-bass looking that took over to please the masses. ( unfortunately they only made them for 2 years then they were also done, and were replaced a couple years later with the non-pointy concert 5 series. )

a kelly in the usa? oh wow there's always a used KB1 bolt-on on ebay up here almost monthly. the nicer KBX with the 3band preamp is the one everyone bids a lot on, the KB1 p/j passive is usually 150.00-200.00 c.h.e.a.p!

see devils I said nobody was gonna touch his neckthru sig basses @ almost 4 grand, and they told everyone by mid-2011 the bolton's would start being made available ( AND NOT FOR 4grand EITHER...lol ) you will see plenty of his sig NT basses for sale for a long time.
and to rovito:
the kelly has no more neckdive than a gibson tbird everybody bitches about. ( not an EPI, a GIB )

it plays fine for what it is out of the box no new stringss, etc.... the hz's dont buzz ,the pre has a scratchy vol and mid pot, it is alder so nice weight and i'll do one youtube video with it before I take it apart. I still cant believe a good condition one can still fetch almost 500, but whatever

the guy who is gonna build me a bass is keeping the loaded body for himself and the neck will be used on a frankenjackson lso i'll end up with a black lefty tbird with a jackson reversehead neck, the fusion's rail p+j pups a J2000 pre and a kahler. - with the correct smaller "lefty" Jackson logo naturally ;)

like this righty usa reversehead, flipped, except the fat part of the fin would be on the bottom.lol
