jackson basses

Well no luck finding one. I went to every guitar store & pawn shop and none had any Jackson basses in stock. I did however find that the store I normally buy from can get a new Jackson CMG for me for around 500-550 which isn't a bad price at all. Just would really like to play one first.

1 day of looking and you give up -- :(

BUT.....1/2grand brand new is very good considering they are STILL trying to get 800 for those things and I could never see the reason on a bolt on unit without REAL Emg's. That's why the JS series will be a big hit with the JS3 at 350 bucks which is the same thing as a CMG, except made in India with indian cedro body no rock maple in the neck, indian rosewood and no emg-HZ's But the 3band preamp is the same.

I just appreciate the effort for them to go back to a standard style body again after all the years of the "weird" looking concerts.

As soon as the stores around here get one in, I'm gonna check a new JS and maybe if they sell enough of them this year in 2012 they will have a lefty option. :D

Didn't give up, I just didn't find anything yet and I went to all the places around here. I didn't say I wasn't interested in the brand new one, I might go ahead and order one from the shop, just kinda would like to try one before I go shelling out money, you know? JS3 looks cool and all but I'd rather have the model with EMGs personally

ya I gotcha... only God knows how many I have played before purchase, and also how many were bought before playing. I can only offer the fact that I have owned so many Jacksons and thankfully I pretty much know what to expect, so I can just see one and buy it without surprises or questions.

This is my Jackson. It's not anything fancy, but it
's a decent bass overall.

I don't know what model it is, but I'd bet that one of you do.
