Hi, our circuits are designed in the house. Sisma and Coda share the same class G power amp section. We have tested almost every Class D module available or other proprietary designs, like Markbass, and the Pascal is our preferite Class D module, luckly for us we kept on preferring our Class G over the Pascal since the latter is very expensive.
@Franz975 I'd like to keep this thread relevant to the SISMA amp, I like to hear from people who are using one or have been testing one. But also hear other people stories and perspectives.
I'm happy to share my experience as player and a tester, but long story short: we tried almost everything, blow a lot of woofers, burn a lot of amps and we ended up with our recipe of old and new, that is traditional amp designs in a compact format and ceramic woofers on lighter cabs. Some reasons are subjective, some other are objective, none are market influenced since we don't aim at big numbers, we could not handle them.
It's good to keep an open ear, learn from the schooled, and make your own choice and mistakes. Ironically I really started to throw money in the bin after learning that 1W is 1W and comparing cabs looking at declared specs on eary 2000's internet sites. So my only advice is to go and find whats good for you.
