Jazz bass - What color & pickguard combo ?

I just wanted to get an idea of what jazz-bass players favor as colors for their basses, and pickguards. So, what's your fave color jazzbass, and what, if any pickguard goes with that ?

Oh, by the way, I have two presently - a four in Olympic White, with Tort' pickguard, and a five in Transparent White with White pickguard. But I really dig other colors such as Metal Orange, Sonic Blue, Bursts, Lake Placid Blue, and some natural

...even if it's infected discharge green and pink, as long as it's got a tortoise shell pickguard and flats most here will dig it.

P.S. If I could have any color of Jazz, I'd have 3(or4) of them. One being the Oly White + Tort PG. Second being Fiesta red + Tort PG, third being Daphne Blue / Seafoam with white and Tort PG's. =D

Have to agree with sunburst and tortoise shell. I don't have one - yet - but I'm in the process of Frankenstein-ing an SX five string jazz which will be burst/tort.

Natural wood or sunburst + black pickguard

Black + black pearloid pickguard

Vintage white + tortoiseshell pickguard

Sonic blue + mint green or cream.

I'm really liking the black with tort guard I have going on with mine right now. I like white with tort a lot too.
