Don't know. Nobody's said yet. But he was relatively young...59.

Ya, that's what I heard, too. Beyond that, nothing, but relapses are fairly common, and so is a general weakening of the body. A terrible disease.

I was just listening to a Bob Berg CD he was on (pretty sure it's him) To me he was one of the guys who defined the New York Jazz vibe. Not the crazy hadrien feraud type chops but the stuff that is more attainable for the regular human being. Really musical stuff. So sad he's gone...
