I thought I was dying waiting 12 weeks for my Carvin... it is finally being shipped here, hopefully here next week. I don't know how you can possibly handle all the anticipation.
Very nice bass, I was quite shocked to see somebody in the 306 getting a Drozd. I am sure they play as nice as they look. Good ole bass art.

That is gonna' be SO off the hook when the finish is applied!!Here are some new photos of the new body, pre bleaching.
Oh, hmm. Must just have very yellow lighting because it looks more maple-y than the previous iteration.

Yeah ,I also think the lighting maybe is not 100% true. But the lighter color is because the wood has no finish. Once the finish goes on it looks a little bit darker/wet. Like if you wet some raw wood with naptha to see the figure stand out on it like when it's finished.
Congrats on the gorgeous bass. You have to post up a youtube demo for al of us once you get her.
