Looks fantastic; very clean, elegant and understated.

I notice that you went with the old style one-piece control cover. I think that was a good choice, aesthetically. The new two-piece cover arrangement seems a bit cluttered to me, and removing two extra screws once a year or so to change the battery is an equitable trade-off for the clean appearance.

That extra fingerboard octave offers some great creative possibilities if your intonation skills are up to the task, and as a nice ergonomic bonus, it makes a damn fine ramp for your right hand.

Yes that is the look I was going for. Clean, organic flowing lines... some understated elegance... You could play it wearing a tuxedo and it would be stylin'. And yes, I wanted the one piece wood cover just to keep the look clean. And once I get the black bridge/tailpiece it will look even better. But the chrome doesn't look bad either.

It's in Canada... but hasn't cleared Customs yet. >:\ So it looks as though it will be Monday until I can hold and play it, finally.
