These are killer basses. I love hearing it, but it really makes me miss the one I traded for a Steinberger.

This is the one I used have. I bought it for $900 used at Elderley Music in Michigan back in 1992.

Agreed! The Spoiler is the nicest bass I have ever handled, it was decades ago and I still remember how amazed I was by it.
I've always wanted one but the cost is prohibitive and used lefties are super rare.

Hey Doc, here is a clip of Ron Long doing a little impromptu with George Benson -- pretty sure it's a Spoiler bass:

Hey man, get outta my damn head. Watched that like 5 days ago. Been hankering for a Spoiler for a while. Was getting ready to pull the pin on one, then found a decent deal on a Sandberg VS4, for which I've also been jonesing. $ 600 versus +/- 3k. Cheap wins....for now.

A $600 Sandberg? Bump that Spoiler out of your mind, that is a screaming good deal!
