Joplin Tornado: lost My Basses

Hi, I lost all my basses, including 2 Warwicks, '73 Jazz and several other high end axes. And all my amps when my house was literaly wiped from the face of the earth on May 22nd in the Joplin Tornado.:help:

I am now trying to find at least one bass to be my one and only bass.
I've always wanted a Warwick Broadneck 5 String or 6.
Anyone know of any for sale?
Can't afford a new or to replace all my stuff, so I'll be bare bones instead of a collector now.
Thanks!

Man I am sorry to hear that! May the good times roll back in for you and all those affected!

All our best wishes go out to you. It's the thing people often say, but it is true: So long as you (and your family) made it through the gear can always be replaced sooner or later.

I don't do Warwicks so I can't give you any hints. But we all hope you get your life back together and a bass to get the groove going again soon!

I don't know: I think I would be alright if I lost a leg or two but still had the 73 Jazz.
Well I for one am glad you only lost your basses instead of your legs. Or worse. Even still, sorry for your losses, and I hope you're safe from here on out. But the power's in you, not the basses, so whatever you get, I think you'll still be able to kick it. Good luck with your recovery.

It was a nice '73 too, just exactly like Getty's '72. It's funny, I'm just now starting to miss my basses. I was somewhere the other day and someone was playing a old fender, and I got sick to my stomach.
It is just stuff, and I know it can be replaced.
My wife and I rode out the tornado (center of the worst hit area) in her Honda Civic. I was laid up a couple of days, and covered her body with mine in the car. The hardest part was walking from the totalled car through 3 miles of the debris and seeing all the hurt, dead and dying people screaming for help. When we got to the leveled house there was nothing in one peice. Never even found one of the pegheads of all 10 basses!
One tip to all you guys. Don't leave your basses out of thier casses. I had 8 on a 8 bass stand. And two on singles. Put your basses up when you leave your house! AND Don't say it won't happen to you. You never know. I never whould have dreamed it would happen to me. The only family member we lost was one of our 2 cats Redly.
Thanks for all your comments.
