After several near-misses with booking, I finally got Atlanta bassist Joseph Patrick Moore and his friends to come and play my Bass Bash at Douglas Corner Friday night. He's a great player with a unique voice on the instrument who has released several CDs, runs his own record label with 30 different signed Artists and has toured with Bob James and Earl Klugh. How'd I miss this guy?

I have a couple of his CD's, I got into him because he used Jimmy Herring on one. Great player!

Yeah, I can vouch for the guy being a GREAT bassist and someone to really learn from when it comes to style and technique. Love his stuff! He's a definite example when it comes to knowing how to do it right.
