Jule Amps Monique Part 2.

Are there any De-Monique out in the wild yet?

How do I go about ordering one?
The ordering page on Jule's website isn't there anymore

Will this amp be shipped from Demeter instead of from Jules?
I am also from Canada and Baird's post about this amp going thru Canadian custom is certain a big plus.

Send Jule an IM on TB or email him at [email protected]. He is great to deal with and responds quick.

I'll have the web pages on the store back up again as soon as I can. The originals were part of that introduction.

When I do, you will be able to order/pay on the Jule Amps website store and we will handle the business with James Demeter for you. He is getting used to us sending him your money. :)

You can certainly contact James or I at any time and make this happen. He is now well into working his way out of that first batch of orders, but he knows better than I about the delivery on subsequent Minnies. (We do stay in touch)

If your choice is the Rack Mount or Tardis package, then you can start that out at any time and we'll work out the amp part later. The way it works is that I do my bit (build Monique) and then send it to James Demeter. His shop is two or three hours South of Santa Cruz. Then he does his work. I prefer to ship to you from here.

Hey Jule,

Have you ever considered squeezing a Monique-like preamp into a stomp pedal? Seems like a cant miss these days. Slap a cool kindergarten drawing on a $10 build your own shell, come up with a crazy but hip name .... Boom! $249.95 plus shipping. Cha-Ching!:hyper:

Using than a single 12AX7 would be problematic though.

Two, make that three of my friends (Rich Hamel, Mark Sampson, James Demeter) have designed and sell pedals.

I know what they go through, so I'll just stay with what I know.

If Monique ever becomes forgotten, I'll just head to the beach. ;)

.

Yes, but.

The Monique customer who paved the way with James Demeter felt better with a Tardis instead of his original Rack Mount Monique, so I've just today made the change for him and his Tardis De-Monique will be on the return trip home to him early next week.

There is a picture of his Tardis De-Monqiue on the facebook/moniqueforbass page.

Thank u all for the great reviews. I'm intrigued by the Monique. I could see it pairing up very well with my euphonic audio amp, (a nice feature with euphonic is that u can bypass the amps eq with the push of a button.) or for studio usage. I see one in my near future :)

I'm currently endorsed by EA and I've used the Monique through both my IAmp Pro and IAmp Micro, through a myriad of all different types of EA cabs. Sounds nothing short of phenomenal. Imagine that EA clarity with just the perfect amount of tube thickness and growl. I would say go for it if you've got the $!

Thanks bassdoubler. I'm kinda torn between a Monique or just going ahead and getting the full package with the Tardis. I do like the idea of just the pre for now. Either way and I think itl be amazing. I appreciate ur help.

you bet. The Tardis looks incredible, but I love seeing those tubes in the birdcage and it's nice to be able to use it just as a preamp in the studio. I also purchased the Demeter Minnie 800 to go underneath the Monique so essentially I'm doing the Tardis thing in a different way....

Terrible iPad pic, but I had a few minutes to AB the 2 twins. I am moving things around so there are cables everywhere, so disregard the mess!

My Boss AB-2 ABY box decided to die but I played around a bit and both Moniques sound very similar as would be expected. I find that the dove cage (bought mid last year) was a tiny bit more articulate and slightly more pronounced upper mids than the brand new rack Monique. Might be all in my head though as I only played them for 5 minutes.

I went out and bought a new Radial ABY box and will spend some time with both amps after the hockey game. Go Leafs!:hyper:
