Jule Amps Monique part 5

Dang. I had been thinking about the new Demeter mini head to replace the Mo, but after playing around this weekend, I think it might be a silly swap. Instead, I'm thinking about doing the aftermarket Minnie poweramp mod just to get it all in one box (currently using the rack model). Anyone do this? What are your thoughts on the process?

Yes, James Demeter added the 800-D to my Monique in December. I live in California so it took just one week for the process to occur. They were extremely efficient and the amp works great!

The DeMT is the ultimate combination of that Jule tone with the power of the Minnie IMO. Coupled with Mike Aronopol's MAS 46 cab, it's a lethal setup! I'm happier than a pig in sh...!

I have the Demeter M 800D. It's a great amp. I love the portability of it. It offers me a different tone palette to work with.
It comes down to your preference.
They are both excellent products.

I've been borrowing my buddies Monique for a year now. I figured it was about time I got one to call my own and officially join the party. I'll be putting her to good use this weekend and hopefully bring her on some fly dates at the end of April.

That's a QuikLok 7-guitar stand. My favorite multiple guitar stand. I keep a QuikLok 3-guitar at the studio also. You can roll it to different areas very easily. And lock it down to stay in place.

btw, if anyone is looking for a small, no noise, low-powered but great sounding power amp to pair with Monique for home/studio use, I recommend the ISP Stealth. It's marketed to guitarists as an A/B class pedal board power amp. And I use it as such. But it works really well with Monique.

Groove Doctor, I've only used the ISP Stealth on my pedal board in the studio. So I'm not sure how loud of a gig it can handle. But it does get very loud (with guitar) in bridged mode. For bass, I've tried it with the CN112, ML112 and the Thunderchild 115. Sounds great with all. Voicing is very neutral and transparent.

At low volume with Monique I'm actually starting to prefer the ISP over the other power amp options I have (Minnie, Crest Pro-Lite 2.0, Puma 900), IME so far. It's slightly leaner sounding, but it has a certain clarity and roundness to the notes that the more powerful amps don't really give me as much of, at lower sound levels. If that makes any sense.

But regardless of the power amp, Monique always sounds incredible IMO.

I know it might be an overkill... but is it possible to use the monique with headphones...?? I have to travel a lot and I would like to practice while I enjoy the greatest tone I could....while knowing that I could connect the monique to my amp and enjoy the same great tone at home...

Yes but you need 2 things to do so. Your headphone impedance must match Monique's line out impedance.

Also you would need an adapter that would convert the balanced mono trs line out to a stereo female trs adapter, otherwise you would only get sound out of 1 ear.
