Jule Amps Monique part 5

Random post of the day, can anyone tell me which if which these go to which (Minnie or Monique).

I moved today and packed them differently than I usually do when I'm headed out to play, so I can't remember which plug goes to which unit.

The one on the left has bronze prongs and says 'MIM' while the one on the right has silver prongs and says 'Lintex'. Thanks!

I hope folks don't really think this 700 watt amplifier is an "up against" entry to the Bass Amplification market. The Minnie and other configurations of James Demeter's 800 watt bass amplifier are stunning. Comparisons are natural and necessary, but I will always like James' 800-D.

However. . . much like the making of music, one does like to add a personal touch to the work. That is more of what the 700 is about. And yes, it is pretty nice. ;)

The long delayed presentation of details including pricing should be on the website over this weekend. I sure as heck hope so.

I had my first gig with the Monique / Minnie rig this weekend and was really pleased. Just really rich, even, full tone. I received lot's of compliments on the sound and the esthetics of the setup. We were playing a weekend, multi site, art fair in Minneapolis. The gig was in an old casket factory turned studio space. Thanks Jule!

You'll have to get the matching enclosure for the Minnie.

Got a last minute call to do a yacht club patio gig last night. Me and 2 great guitarist friends.

Of course I forgot my power cords for Minnie and Monique and was luckily able to find just one for Monique (stole it from one of the yacht club's TV's!). So using my Berg AE210 basically as a shelf for my beer and Monique, I went Monique -> PA and it sounded great. I really like the DI on Monique.

Beautiful night, big crowd on the patio and we played well considering we hadn't played together in over a year. Actually got paid more than we agreed on as the bar had a stellar night.

I do own an acoustic bass, but just can't seem to leave my Fodera Monarch 5er at home. It sounds perfect with acoustic guitars IMO, so if it looks out of place on an acoustic gig.... Too bad.:wacky:

I have had the issue of forgetting or misplacing my power cords. The bigger issue I have been seeing is ground loop hum. I started bringing a conditioner that works great, but looks terrible under the Monique and Minnie. I have been shopping around for a solution and am about to pull the trigger on a surgex multipak 6. The foot print is about an inch larger than the Minnie, but it should blend in. I have been using furman conditioners for years, never used a surgex, and it ain't cheap. Anyone have any experience with them?

Wow, that is a pricy little unit! Looks great though and definitely is a solid piece of hear.

No experience here, but would be interested to hear your impressions if you buy one!
