just a 210?

Im planning on getting an avatar delta 210 to start my rig. I plan to add a 115 when I get more cash. Will a 210 sound bad by itself?

It will sound fine, but you will probabally need more volume depending on your situation.

yeah it will just depend on what and where your playing. Also what your playing against.

By generic standards, a 210 would handle most small gigs and would be more than enough for practice as long as you have reasonable power, and dont play at insane volumes in practice (like my band does).

I've played in multiple bands where the bassist only used a 2x10 and relied on the PA when they needed to get ridiculous. As long as your drummer and guitarist aren't obnoxious you should have plenty of amp.

I play in an Allman Bros tribute band; 2 drummers, two Marshall half-stacks, and B3/Leslie onstage. If I'm going direct through the PA, then an SWR 2x10 is all I use for stage sound; it works fine.

I also use just the 2x10 for most clug gigs where there is no support.

The only time it isn't enough is when we're playing a big room without support; in those cases I add a 1x15 or a 4x10.
