GC ordered a lot of white and gold SR5 HH basses.

Indeed. I've been to two different GC locations this month, and each store had one of these beauties hanging way up high in the rarified "Don't Even Think About Touching These Instruments Without Supervised Assistance" zone.

REAL nice. I haven't made the leap to a EBMM bass yet, but I suspect that's coming soon. I've been back and forth between an EBMM Stingray and a higher end Fender P Bass. I like the sound of both, but I keep changing my mind. And my wallet and wife won't approve both. Congrats, brother. You got a beautiful addition there!

BEAUTIFUL BASS!!!! I had that exact same bass at the counter ready to pay for it at GC. Then the guy asked me if I had seen the new blue one. Turns out they hadnt even took it out of the box yet!!!! I opened it and ended up getting it. It is their new Pace Car Blue color. Beautiful just like your bass, but no matching headstock.
These basses play soooo great. I LOVE mine. I actually traded my Warwick Double Buck Custom bass after getting this one. And I am a major Warwick guy!!!! They both are super versatile, but the MM pickups are a little farther apart than the Warwick, and it just felt so much better in my hands.

@andruca, I believe it is easy to add a switch to add a single coil as an option. You might look into doing that. Im pretty sure its simple and inexpensive.

So, I had recently purchased a GK rig to gig with, but after using it at a show, I just wasn't impressed with it. So, earlier this week I returned it all to GC. Some of it was purchase in trades, so they had to give me gift cards. I figured that'd be fine as I was sort of in the market for a decent, reasonably priced back up bass.

That brings me to this evening...I decided to swing into GC and see what they had. Well, they had a bass. A beautiful EBMM StingRay 5 that was not reasonably priced, but that I just couldn't pass up! White with matching headstock, HH, maple neck, and gold hardware. Even my wife approved! I couldn't say no. Best part is, I was able to score 15% off!
