It is. The google shopping link automatically applies it. I was looking at the MF site directly and didn't see the code. That's very helpful for anyone in the market.
I love my Vertigo for carrying a 4-string to local gigs. I typically play a six, and my sixes don't fit inside the Vertigo. As for air travel: if it absolutely must get there in one piece, the only way to go is a flight case. They're expensive, but in the end, they are worth it.
I had a Vertigo and liked it a lot but yes, it didn't fit in my bass safe. I ended up with a reunion Blues Areo which fits nicely in the bass safe.

Trouble was, Reunion Blues products are thin on the ground in my neck of the woods, but, I was able to get hold of a Gator Transit. It's a nice bag, but I was a bit dubious about the plastic strap hooks, and after reading the post from @monkeyland, it seems that I was right in thinking it a weak spot. So I'm sticking to MONO products for everything but air travel. I've actually contacted MONO and suggested the idea of a hardshell case to fit their gig bags inside. If they ever made it, it would be the ultimate protection system for basses and guitars, and do away with the whole hardshell case/gig bag controversy once and for all.
I fly a Vertigo regularly, and in the rare cases they won't let me take it on the plane, I've never had an issue with gate-checking or carousel checking. I think the baggage handlers are a little more careful with gig-bags generally, and tend to put them "on-top" of the other square bags in the cargo compartment (if that makes sense). My hard-cases have taken much more of a beating on planes - and they're almost never allowed in the cabin.
I use nothing but mono bags for all shows, and the only reason I would ever use a hard-case again is if I were back in a touring trailer / multiple bass situation.
One other thing, the d-rings on various points of the mono bags are very tough. I hang a couple of carabiner clips on the bag so I can attach the various items I'm travelling with (jacket / shoulder bag etc.). Helps me keep things together.

I don't think you can go wrong with any Mono product. I tour with two of the M80 dual bass bags, and I put them through it! Load ins, load outs, trailers, vans, bus bays, and everything else. They hold up well, and I've never worried about the level of protection they provide my basses.
I have used the hell out of two Mono Vertigos (guitar and bass). Worth every penny and great customer support.
I’ve put several hundred gigs on my Vertigo and Tick combo over the past couple years. I’m very happy with the case.
I’ll say that the Tick isn’t 100% necessary. While I enjoy having the additional storage in a detachable package, I don’t care for how the weight of the bag shifts, particularly when the case is unzipped - it tends to fall over very easily.
All in all though, the Vertigo has outlasted many lesser gig bags and hard cases that I’ve owned and I’m very happy with it.

Blimey....You should, at least, get a Stereo one for that money!...Just paid $215 for a CASE.....YIKES!! I know these typically go for $249 retail but all my cases or gig bags have come with the basses, so I've never had to buy a case separate. I got it from an authorized dealer on eBay that had the 'make an offer' option.
I've been using a Fender Deluxe gig bag for years to take to gigs and practices and have left the hardshell cases at home. The Fender bag is starting to show it's age and need something 'gig-bag-like' to protect my basses a little better that I can take to 50-ish gigs a year plus practices.
Hopefully the case will live up to the price

Love my Vertigo, it's by far my favorite bag. Love the tick too. I'm not a fan of cramming bulky items like pedals into pockets. I simply remove the tick first while I'm cabling my rig up and get my bass out of the bag last. I have Reunion Blues Continental, the Gigblade and the Gator ProGo as well, but if I buy another bag, it will be another Mono.
