JUST ORDERED A SEI 7 !!

I received an e-mail today tell me that my bass is finished !!
The new covers which had been made returned from the finishers who put them on the top of the pile for me !!
I'll travel down to London in the next couple of weeks to collect my new Sei Offset Flamboyant 7, now known as 'Jezebel'

Yup, it's a great bass and I thank you again for all your help !!
I think you made the point before either in this thread or the S.O.C. that there really isn't a 'Sei sound'. My bass is totally the sound for me, really punchy and solid but with a singing higher register.
It's amazing that Martin can produce basses which really only have the shape in common. Each Sei comes out differently as with him we create our basses out of different physical, aural and aesthetic requirements.
I have a few people up here who haven't seen a Sei before and are really looking forward to seeing Jezebel. They're sure going to get a BIG surprise !!

...and as we leave tomorrow, taking in a hastily-arranged overnight stop, this is my last evening on here before I become a Sei owner.
Mind you, if the hotel I'm staying in has 'net access, I might be able to pop in !!
Needless to say this is all extremely exciting and they'll be lots of pics when I return on Wednesday !! Geez, I'm looking forward to many years of Sei ownership

He collected it on Friday at The Gallery - I spoke to him when I was in the process of speaking with Martin. Seems like a very happy boy.
He said he'll post some pics of the beast when he gets back home with it.
