Just thought I'd say something...

....getting ready for a gig...and I'm going to wear shorts. Might add in a pair white new balance and a Hawaiian shirt. Just thought I'd drop a talkbass bomb before I went tout the door.

Does it matter that it is a Hawaiian themed bar?

So Anyway, shorts.
It's no wonder we can't have nice things... and why the singer always expects The BassPlayer to load the PA and bring him a beer.

wear what you like and what makes you comfortable ... as long as you and your band are ok with your clothing choice then why would you care what I think about it.

Hopefully you're also overweight, balding*, wear a goatee to delineate your chin from your neck, extremely pink, and wearing a beige trilby.

Otherwise you'll be outing yourself as a haole.

* - important for the third set when you take off the hat and need to blind the audience with the light reflected off your sweaty scalp. It also helps if you put on 3D glasses a la Dr. Jacoby from Twin Peaks.
I thought this was quite funny until I realized that I am overweight, bald, have a goatee, pale and wear a Trilby and am so very haole

YA know, this NB sneaker thing is basically ragging on disabled people.

I've been wearing the same model top-of-line NB running shoes since 1992 or so - because they are the only production running shoe that actually is available in 7 EEEE and has a last that fits my unconventionally-sized πόδια. I keep seven pairs in daily rotation, and every year make a pilgrimage to the Manhattan flagship store to buy a couple more pairs, as the oldest ones wear out.

Raggin' on us cripples is not cool - just sayin'! :blackeye:

I probably own 5 pair of new balance. Not top of the line, but I wear them every single day. No joke intended.
