A word to the wise !
This instrument has a different feel and sound from a bass guitar or anything else you may have played. Unless you are into taking chances, (some folks are) go to a music store and try one out FIRST before buying! This is a unique instrument and it will not feel or sound like your fender jazz!
I'm very much interested with this little toy... What about the feedbacking issues in louder volumes? Any experiences?

see my post #81What strap should I get? Should I add a strap button or go with the tie-on strap?
I noticed finger noise both fretting and plucking. Turning down the treble helps, but you also have to adjust your playing style. It's a different beast.
As with any amplified acoustic instrument, feedback can happen. The louder you turn it up, the more feedback you'll get. Don't stand too close to the speaker.
