It's definitely wider.

pac-9: little over 3" at nut, 4.5" at bridge.
h.claw: little over 3.5" at nut, 6" at bridge.
joust: little over 4" at nut, 6" at bridge.

They all (or should have) 15mm spacing at the bridge.

Here is the Joust bass in action during Jean's 20 minute solo performance last night at the Phoenix Theater.

Jean did an amazing 20 minute solo set in between acts before the Nuclear Rabbit show. It was a combination of original composed, improvised and video game music.

That Joust is a great sounding instrument. I'm looking forward to trying it out someday.
