... Stew, if you need a 9 - just let me know...

I've thought about it Stew.I am very empathetic to your situation.
thanks, guys. truly! Garry, I was just kidding (although that 11 is one of my favorite Adlers on earth!). and Jean, I'm getting some help on a couple of 8 strings. I'm heading to New Orleans next week and I'll finally see if anything survived. can't believe that all my beauties (and my amps, and all my music) could be gone... :(

Yeah Stew, we need you back on an ERB ASAP!!

yes, sir! :p :bassist:

but this thread is supposed to be about Jean's beauty! so let's get back to that!

This isn't helping my GAS at all. It's bad enough that i'm debating between 6 and 7, but seeing amazing works that i won't be able to afford for a verrrrrryyyyyy long time certainly doesn't help. [student loans = i'm in debt for a very long time]

Awesome Bass Jean.

Welcome back Stew.

ii-v: I actually have a couple of tunes I tap that way.
jared: yes, they are purple - to match the purpleheart theme. The orange looks great on your bass (Adrian let me check it out at NAMM) - don't change it!
oversoul: I got some long strings coming - just another delay.
tom: "blistered" ebony? I've heard it called "dirty" or "spotted" but yeah, same thing I think.
geddy: you know the rules. hahaha
bryan: I might have to agree with you there.
larrytron: It's the 5th string down (from the low side) In the 2nd pic, she's tapping the a string with her index finger / righthand.
Cam: Thanks
christian: hopefully, it will be done soon (next few weeks) and you guys can see it.. however, you guys will have to speculate about it's origins.
lajolie/lokire: that would be the 12, 15, 17, 19, 21, & 24 frets. If I took a pic of the entire fretboard the dots would be super small (or pic super big).

I'm speculatin that the Claw is a Stammie. Does the fingerboard of the Joust twist as well, or just the headstock? My eyes are going all googly from staring at it so much. :p
nope. the Claw has a different genesis. but as I'm in NH, I'm hoping to visit Mr. Stambaugh's shop very soon. I know he's working on a 9 for Mark Roberts and I'm dying to check that out...!

I thought you guys would get a kick out of these pics.

thats really cool Jean! i was about to post on the forums that i can't recall seeing a female playing more than 5 strings (apart from the stickists)

there aren't enough female ERBists out there, it's a real pity
