I had a similar thought, especially in re: Couric and Guthrie. That list of upcoming people might be designed to make Ken look better.
Ha ha! Now that doesn't bother me. IMO, it's just a considerate attempt to be sympathetic and not appear to be a "hole".I've liked Ken's hosting overall, but I have one minor gripe. It kills me when he says "noooo?" with the upspeak when he confirms a wrong answer. A simple, curt "no" is fine.
Good question...I hadn't thought of that.Has Ken said that he wants this as a full time job?

They seem to have it dialed in better than at first. Haven't had any trouble hearing him lately.Ken,
Let's talk about a bit of compression or other mixing for your mic? Your are somewhat soft-spoken during the game.

A couple things I've noticed about the new incarnation of "The Chase". The challengers so far have all been very good. When The Beast was the chaser, it seemed like there was always at least one of the three challengers who was fairly weak. So he had a better chance of eliminating one of them before the final chase. Not so with this newer version....you guys watching The Chase?
Ken almost got there last night.
3 darn good contestants last night were able to win the $.
To me, that sounds like an invitation to the other contestants to answer. It's like "No?" as shorthand for "No, anyone else want to try?"I've liked Ken's hosting overall, but I have one minor gripe. Ken got 6 weeks. According to the article, Richards will host for 2 weeks. Will the other "guest" or "interim" hosts also get 2 weeks? We should see Mike Richards on Monday.
As Ken Jennings' 'Jeopardy!' gig comes to an end, here's who's up next
