Ken on Jeopardy!

I've liked Ken's hosting overall, but I have one minor gripe. It kills me when he says "noooo?" with the upspeak when he confirms a wrong answer. A simple, curt "no" is fine.
Ha ha! Now that doesn't bother me. IMO, it's just a considerate attempt to be sympathetic and not appear to be a "hole".
We used to have a high school quiz show on TV every Saturday pitting two schools against each other. The host was a smarmy weatherman whom I never cared for. When one of the kids would answer incorrectly, he'd go, "NOOOoooo!" The way he said it sounded like he was basically saying, "Geez kid, can you get any dumber??!!!"
Irritated the hell out of me. So Ken's more sympathetic "No" is kind of refreshing to me...
IMO, it's time to stop calling Ken "guest host."
And as far as other auditions - how long will they be? Ken's had a very long "guest host" gig...will the others only get a week or so to show us why they're worthy? If so, it just doesn't make sense or seem fair to me.
Give Ken the permanent job, and let others fill in for him when necessary.

Has Ken said that he wants this as a full time job? From what I heard about him, he doesn't need to work. I think he is doing as good a job, possibly better, than anyone else could do and I would be happy for him to have the job permanently.

I bet they haven't negotiated what his salary would be as the full-time host. The longer Ken is the "guest host" and viewers keep warming up to him, the more he can probably get as his actual salary. I read somewhere that Alex Trebek made $10M a year. Ken can't start at that level, but I'm sure he would be well into 7 figures if he gets the job.

They seem to have it dialed in better than at first. Haven't had any trouble hearing him lately.

I agree that it could probably still be dialed in a little better. But it’s easy to get carried away with “effects” that start standing out as fake and annoying.

Whoa. This is almost unbelievable. He competed during Trebek’s final shows and he was damned good. Crap!
RIP Brayden Smith. You would have been a very worthy contender on ToC.
A couple things I've noticed about the new incarnation of "The Chase". The challengers so far have all been very good. When The Beast was the chaser, it seemed like there was always at least one of the three challengers who was fairly weak. So he had a better chance of eliminating one of them before the final chase. Not so with this newer version.
In the second round (when the chaser is "chasing" them down the board), the questions seem to be easier than they were when The Beast was the chaser. If that doesn't change, we'll probably see a few of them opting to try for the outrageous high-dollar amounts offered.
Sara (the new "Brooke"), does not read the questions as quickly as did Brooke. That makes it even harder for the chaser to win in the final chase. If I'm not mistaken, Ken, Brad, and James have all lost at least once. Ken twice. Can't remember if Brad has gone 1-1 or 0-2.
Sorry for the derail. Back to the previous "Jeopardy!" discussion!

To me, that sounds like an invitation to the other contestants to answer. It's like "No?" as shorthand for "No, anyone else want to try?"
Ken got 6 weeks. According to the article, Richards will host for 2 weeks. Will the other "guest" or "interim" hosts also get 2 weeks?
