Kubicki club?

Taken on a Russian Forum. Can't tell you more, just a lucky guy somewhere... over the rainbow :bassist:

This a stunning piece of work of course but there are some details to take in account about those Custom models from Phil i think. Weight on one side and shape as that model particularly doesn't precisely match the original kubicki shape if you know what i mean.
Also binding when precious is not necessarily a plus over time regarding care finish & refinishing.
My two cents.
This is why you have to choose carefully the one you desire.

Sorry my bad English.

Well, the '86 Ex-Factor came early Saturday morning. It was in a little bit better shape than I thought and sounds incredible. I was able to rock it at the gig for a set...

I'm still on the fence about painting it. I think the blue is growing on me, but I can't help but think that this would look spectacular in Candy Apple Orange.
It looks good on ya. Nice to see it's getting some action. :)

The input jack on my '93 is kinda loose... anyone know if that is an easy fix or what I'd have to do to replace it? it is a fairly minor issue but I'd like to get it sorted. Sending to Phil is not a viable option.

Do you mean the jack moves around, or that the wires seem loose, causing signal interruption, or when you insert your cable, it feels like it pops out too easily?

I replaced the jack on my 96. It's a standard Switchcraft barrel jack. Not a big job if you have soldering skills. The ground terminal needed to be trimmed IIRC.

This assumes that the plug is loose in the jack. If the jack itself is loose on the bass it's of course just a matter of tightening the nut.

I had to replace mine too for the same reason. It started to cut out while playing. Not a big job, if you can solder. Little tricky getting the jack tight but doable.

I can get you the correct Switchcraft part number later tonight when I get home. It may be posted here back a few posts.
