Contact me by pm if interested. I am based in London England
Beautiful! And great timing too-I just recieved a fretless neck and have sent it and my Pink bass to Phil for fitting. I bought this Ex Factor new in '88, it's # 524. I've always thought a fretless Factor would kill, now I'll have interchangable necks!
Pearl Pink was a very limited run of 20. The first one was made for Jamaldeen Tacuma by special request, and while he had the paint mixed he did a batch.
I don't know if I can be considered a candidate for this club, but I definitely am a devotee of Phil's vision and continue to sing his praises.I currently don't own one of Phil's basses but have owned a few over the years. The 1st one I played I fell in love with everything Kubicki. I had a black '86, a sonic blue FCS and a black FCS unlined fretless. All Ex-Factors. Sadly I needed to sell them, but did create a hybrid fretless in the late 90's using his neck & bridge tuners. I call it my Factorbird.
It's a T-bird like Koa body and it's gone through a few manifestations in the electronics dept over the years. First w/EMG P-style pu's/electronics, then these Wilkinson buckers, and now I currently have it set up w/G&L L-2000 MDF pu's and the L-2000 preamp. (best and final mod)

I'm not hating on those at all. I think they're both very creative. Nicely done.

It's not something that would suit me but it's incredibly unique and very cool. And I bet it completely solves the neck dive that plagues so many T-Birds. Well done.

Sorry about the crappy flash shot but it tells the story. Most interesting...how does that veneer transition in to the neck?
Thank you for that. It certainly looks like Phil's stamp numbers to me. It looks like a chocolate covered banana!
