Unless gigs pick up. I drool over the one at BassCentral daily.....I really need this in a Skyline....
I don't think I could play the BG5 with the pickup cover on. Looks really cool!
I really need this in a Skyline....unfortunately the US are out of my price range right nowUnless gigs pick up. I drool over the one at BassCentral daily.....
I would buy it in a Skyline as well, ESPECIALLY if we got the LOG configuration with the black blocks/maple neck....
Heh! I know, I just wanted to see if you were liking the sound yourself. A lot of people don't care for the sound solo'd (I do, actually), but still love it in a full-band context. Glad to hear it's a keeper!Do you REALLY have any doubts about the sound? LOL. Honestly, I'm still getting used to the P sound (this is really the first one I've had), but in a full band setting, it has that perfect combination of midrange cut and the bottom end that makes the girls feel funny inside
Like I said, she is staying put!
Hey Doug!! I dig the blog/posting onslaught! lol Thanks for asking. DC is justing kicking along. I had my first practice tonight with a Christian pianist/songwriter. Good tunes!! Thursday I audition for our new church - to get in rotation. Lots of great players there, but I may slide in anyway.
The avatar pic was the body and neck still just roughed and laying together (in the biblical sense). But I am one of the next ones in line. Very very soon.
Prayers of calm and peace for the difficult client tomorrow.
I've got a question concerning 44-02's. With the coil-tap, does it use the MMHB to replicate both 60's and 70's jazz bass pickup spacing, or are the coils in different spots? I'm wondering because I cant afford to buy as many basses as I want (balls huh?) and the 44-02 seems like a good jack of all trades but master of none (but it's own hahah) bass.
