Speaking of 55-94's with Chis, what are they like compared to the J+MM models?
Hmm, I wonder if you can get PG with the Chi Sonics-equipped 55-94.the classic comes with a pickgaurd but it is not attached, giving you the option of rather or not to use it.
Hmm... dual Chi-buckers (IME/IMO) have a more aggressive, less refined/less hi-fi tone, and MORE bass than my Bart equipped 55-94, with the pres both set flat. I love both basses equally for what they do... my 55-94 is my "lady on the street" while Sexual Chocolate is the "freak in the bed" if you know what I mean hehehe.
I wish you could buy Chi-Sonic's seperatley, that would be cool, I can imagine all kinds of projects(I have one bass I'd like throw three into

How is the "Chi" in "Chi-Sonic" pronounced?
A "chuh" or "shuh"
and does it rhyme with sky or knee.

You're welcome. I think it was Carl at Lakland that explained it to me. I thought it was pronounced "chee" as in Tai-Chi LOL.
So did I until I saw one of the Lakland videos on Youtube. I would also of understood "shee" as in "sh-car-go".
