Made good on my promise (that I made to myself 
) and gigged my 44-02 this weekend. Forgot how freakin EFFORTLESS it feels to play that bass. Makes my, as my drummer puts it, "mind-blowing" fills so much easier

I'm still waiting for the recordings from the show... I know the quality will be $#!+ but I even impressed myself a little bit while I was playing, wanna hear what I did
I've been fighting myself not to buy it at the $449 price... at $399, well shoot. If you are considering one at all, that would be the one to get. Never have to worry about getting your investment back.

I'm not a Lakland owner.. but I've seen some nice ones. Maybe someday.
Yeah pretty rainy this morning. I'm actually usually back and forth between Columbia and Charleston. My parents live up in Cola and I play in a band up that way.
Well I used to be in a blues/funk trio called Avenue. We were the house band over at Blue. in the Vista.
I recently became the new bassist for Concrete Jumpsuit (with my old drummer of Avenue). Their bassist is actually a much better guitarist, so he moved over and I moved in.
Cool. I have heard of both those bands. I'll have to come check ya out sometime.. and hijack your bass for a song. LOL. Feel free to come out to a Bender gig and do the same with my Schecter.

but just curious if anyone out there that has a Skyline fiver in Maple that would prefer an essentially unused Rosewood board. Feels great, just realizing I'm a Maple guy, and would really love one for my JO5. Thanks

Seriously - looked into it for grins (for my business) and was shocked at how easy and narrow focussed the questionniare was.....essentially if you were a HUGE bank or investment house with alot of bad decisions (oops....I mean "troubled accounts") you get $$$$$....if not.......yeh right!
if you don't like it, just keep the volume off.....easy fix.....really! we need something unique.....classy.....BUT "acceptable" to the general public....the public was just not ready for godzilla yet (green CHI P)
