LAKLAND OWNERS GROUP #26

Well I picked Midas up today.
I was'nt expecting it to be so light. 8.2 lbs on my digital bathroom scale.
Funny thing is I sold my amp to get a new one, then that day Midas came up and my amp money went there instead.
So I actually don't have an amp to play it through.
Small price to pay for an awesome bass.
Anyway....Plays like a dream. Great action.
I've had two DJs and a Duck Dunn. The blocks and binding do not compare.

Unfortunately, I took my camera to the shop and snapped a few pictures but my battery was dying/died. I may have lost a few.
Here are a couple I was able to salvage.

When we (Doug, Greg and myself) went to Lakland this morning, we spoke to Kevin in the shop who informed us that Yesterday Carl lost one of his parents.
Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Also, sounds like new policy at the shop.
They are frowning on street traffic coming in unannounced.
If you plan on going in you just need to make an appointment.

Here's my new toy... I got her with the intention of selling cause I could use some cash but after only a couple days she's already screaming, "I'm here to stay!"

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic. 55-94 Classic (?) - Ash body in Pearl White, Tort p/g, Maple neck and BEM board, Barts... I was told she is a '97 and used to belong to the bass player from Heroshima (I don't know their name though), that said it's obvious she's done her time on the road and it shows - I love it!

congrats!!! sweet bass! Lakies have a tendency to scream that....sounds like it is a real keeper!

I just got back from Disney and open this up to see that Doug has stabbed me in the back.....that's worse than posting pics of a you with another mans wife and then telling the guy to look at them. That is like posting pics of what the guy WISHED his wife looked like, and then poking fun at him because his wife doesn't look like that, but the new wife you found is exactly like what the other guy wanted. I mean c'mon, you already have like all these fancy american wives and the other dudes are all bought used and are foreign. Oh, by the way...I call DIBS if Doug ever sells it.

If you set-up and run the LOG site, are you still considered "street traffic"?

Aaron my friend....sincere apologies!!!! I KNEW you would be upset....BTW - importing wives is not a bad thing....especially if they are of "high quality"......

you can play it - I PROMISE!!!! just let me know when!!!

BTW - how was Disney????
