I like the lower horn. It certainly looks shorter if you put a 94 against a MMSR but, as it is, somehow the guys managed to make the shape very organic. To say nothing of the higher frets access - it's perfect! Better access to the 22th fret than my former neck-through 24-fret Ibby!

I like it too. It's unusual in a good way.

Today will be a DARK day, BLACK in fact, it's in the STARs. But, that doesn't mean it will BE bAD 4 me. In fact, this day will rank EXTRA high on my greatness SCALE. It will almost be as sweet as my fifth b-day back in '76.
Kickass! I played that bass 2 or 3 different times, it's a great one and deserves to be played. It should be a very good fit for your music, too. I'm betting you'll love the DS, congrats!

Do the Skyline bodies ship to the U.S. already routed? I know you can get different pickups for an additional charge, but what about a 44-01 or 44-02 with a passive J-type setup?

If nobody is sure, I'll give them a call.
Thanks!

Awesome Jedi :hyper:
Thanks. Waiting for the brown truck. Keep turning around and looking out my living rm window every time I hear a vehicle :hiding: :D, I should still be in bed. 3.5hrs sleep won't get it. Couch feels comfy.... hmm, maybe I can nap here and leave a "knock LONG and LOUD" note on the door for the UPS guy...

I'm sympathetic to your troubles and all... but lets try and keep things on topic here, thanks.
:p
:D

bout time someone bought that damn thing.
;) I'll sell it to you if I don't bond with it.

CONGRATS! I played that at the GTG, and then I saw it the other day, and that DS takes it over the top!
Cool :hyper: It'll be my first DS experience. I can't wait!!
LOL..that is funny...I am jealous
Well, it's no 3T burst ya know ;).

Haha, that was me yesterday waiting on the DJ to arrive. Fortunately we had our first cool weather day on the coast yesterday, so instead of working from the home office I moved to a front bedroom and opened a window so I could hear the truck coming and not miss my doorbell, which isn't working that great.

Nice! That's a great amp, with the Scout cab(s) or another cab entirely. And the combo packs a lot of punch by itself!
Definitely! A local player here has a walkabout and it sounds great. Very warm with just the right touch of vintage without sounding muddy at all. I haven't played a Lakland through it, but I bet it's a sure winner.
