Yeah, I love rockin' out a 4 as well but I really need(want?) these lower notes. I'm sure I will own a Lakland 4 in the future, but at the moment, it's a 5er that will be my next bass.

hit that LOW C a few times (especially on a dual humbucking CS) and watch the dust fall from the rafters....did that a few times this last sunday.....more rumble than jumble...

I dialed in some killer tone on this - this bass has huge Sonority (for lack of a better word) in each note- it is just Thick and Luscious - major booty going on. Just playing it and smiling - thinking this is the real deal - no joke - it sounds full and bad ass - so maybe I will keep her like this for a bit.

I think I am going to call her
"Thick and Luscious"
