Ah, that sucks. Also, I LOL'd when I saw your new avatar, such a contrast to your visually aesthetic basses. Couldn't stop thinking of someone looking at another thread with your posts in it.

Indeed better - see my other post - agree she might not like being called thick.
Now I am still obsessing about what strings to put on her - I like the Laklands Steels that are on her - they are just light gauge and I am used to Medium Gauge. Was leaning toward Hi Beam Mediums but now I read they might not have the best B String for a 5'er - I guess need to stop reading threads and just decide.

OK...I had to go back...making me too hungry.
I have had the cask Glenlivet before.....good stuff. Apart from living in Alabama...we are in a dry county. I have to drive an hour to stock up and the choices are limited. :scowl:

Tweaking the tone controls on the Bass makes a Big Difference - I am still going to consider an upgrade - but for now this is working for me (maybe I just have not seen the light).
OK Doug...your not the devil....but fill us in on this idea that someone is trying to convince Dan to try? 66-94? 66-76? 66-02?

Besides, when I get my very first US Lakie I may ask Dan to change the headstock decal to "Lukeland"
