hahahahhahaha...sadly, that's not the first time I've been called that...nor many other colorful adjectives in front of my last name.
I don't think it should count unless you have them all at one time. I've had:
2 BG skylines
2 HBs
3 5501s (1 in possession)
1 Scheff
1 4-94 (in possession)
1 55-02 (in possession)
I think the worst part is that everyone has probably owned each other's basses to varying extent. Makes me feel kind of dirty when I think about it like that. Kind of like we're trading girlfriends.
I think my new 55-02 is only my second Lakland Purchased new.

Bob, maybe there should be two competitions--most owned at one time, and most total.
Greg: much easier to prove what you have now (pic), but as long as we're all on the up-nup with each other, though sounds like buffordbass already wins!
Just picked up my BG5PJ today...WOW!!!!
I PROMISE pictures tomorrow when I can get some day light.
The bass is absolutely BEAUTIFUL (and THAT from a guy who thought he would NEVER own a 3TB/tort bass)....the shine on the finish is to die for and the grain is very nice....front AND back...the B&B neck..well.....no comment needed there!
As for the sound...NOTHING compares! The P alone is massive and omni-present.....nice growl too...add in the J and look out! Depth and more volume........
This bass has a lot more variety than I thought it would have...I will have to do an A/B with my current BG4 PJ but there is definitely a difference in the sound....
Not too much new at the factory...except I DID see "someone's bass"
completed.....(no further comment needed)
Also - there was a sweet powder blue Decade and a VERY nice DD with a standard RW neck (dots not blocks) and the color was a slightly different shade of red than "normal".
Kevin's '51-P has paint on it (blonde transluscent)...very nice....he stressed that this was a "custom only" and that Lakland IS NOT planning a '51 P but I was working on him to talk to Dan about it.....
The ice blue 55-07 is STILL there (why????)....
As for personnel... Dan was not there. Leo sends his utmost thanks for the flowers and the prayers...Carl is still grieving and now has to take a more active roll in caring for his 95 year old father....keep Carl and Leo in your prayers.

Doug, you have me very jealous of your JO5-Sonic and your BG5. Each are 100% killer. I remember playing and loving the j-sonic. If I ever decide I need a fiver, I'm definitely going with a J-Sonic w/blocks. Your bass as the inspiration.

I like the SKB form fitting cases...they make them to fit Ps and Js but they also fit 44- and 55- series basses....they hve less "give" on the inside and look cooler in my opinion because they are almost bass-shaped....smaller and lighter as well...easier to fit into trunks etc...

Thanks. They've both been getting a lot of playing time recently. The neck on the 4-94 is just perfect.
