LAKLAND OWNERS GROUP #29

Sid Viciuos Lakland is a pun by itself :D and a heck of a sneer at punk rock altogether

I seem to be the only Viciuos fan :( Sex pistols/ramones/clash were punk, I don't see how someone who was something was a sneer at it. Sure Glen was better but it doesn't mean Sid wasn't bad. He couldn't play bass but that wasn't the point, it wasn't the playing he brought them... it was the attitude. It's like saying Johnny Ramone sucked and Johnny Rotten voice wasn't punk at all. IMO. IMO

Plus that was the joke

Oh, the GAS-pains! Why did this bass come up now and not in a couple of months?
That is my favorite bass of all time! (Well, except from being a Skyline)

I LOVE my mine. It has given me a new love for Jazz basses.

Judging by that statement, probably not :smug:. If you got the DJ5 would you release the another Lakie back into the wild? If you did I would assume it would be the DJ4 or JO5

JO5 is gone....sold.....had to use that money for some family stuff...so my wife bought me the ACDJ4. I, in turn, boought her way overpriced shoes I am told....and now I may be trading the 55-02 for a DJ5 that is going to be a special project. As of right now, I see the BG4 and DJ4 being permanent...and the 55-02 being a bit expendable.....although that may all change in the next second or two. The DJ5 will become my "Active" bass
