LAKLAND OWNERS GROUP #29

I seem to be the only Viciuos fan :( Sex pistols/ramones/clash were punk, I don't see how someone who was something was a sneer at it. Sure Glen was better but it doesn't mean Sid wasn't bad. He couldn't play bass but that wasn't the point, it wasn't the playing he brought them... it was the attitude. It's like saying Johnny Ramone sucked and Johnny Rotten voice wasn't punk at all. IMO. IMO

Plus that was the joke

well I didn't mean anything wrong really and I did take it as a joke. As I have explained earlier, it's the juxtaposition of Lakland and punk ideals that seemed funny

Phat Daddy I'm serious and not being sarcastic at all. If Lakland actually offered a 6 string version of the 55-94 with 18.5 mm spacing, would you actually buy one?

Sorry Jauqo, I've been off the computer for a couple of days and these Lakland threads move so fast.

The answer to your question is absolutely yes. I played a Ken Smith 6 sitting in tonight and the string spacing felt somewhere between 17-18mm and it was not that bad. 18.5 would be fine with me if that's what they had to do.

I would definately buy a Lakland 6 so long as the string spacing wasn't unGodly narrow.
