BLASPHEMY
:scowl:
Once you FEEL (not just hear) that low D, you'll find yourself using it more and more, and pretty soon you'll be hooked. You may even evolveinto using the open B
.
I'm just messin'. Have fun with her! And, I can't believe she came w/ a double gigbag!! You could probly sell that and have less than 1k in the bass..... unbelievable!!
Like this?

Contact Leo , US body with a Skyline neck.
Don't know if he still has it or not.

OR you could just send it to me with my Glaub and I will send you some extra money.
^^^ THIS sounds like a great idea!
. Now, your trying to get the 55 too
GRRRRRRR!!!
What's the signature on the white pearl pickguard?
An up and comer...Marcus Miller![]()
. So.... considering my love for Fralin's J pups, I figured I'd like their Ps as well. And, I'm also not too fond of the wide-nutted P necks. So, I went with this one
.Hey, wasn't that JO5 number 1, the first one built?

I agree Ferg. I mean, we're not talking about 40 yr old F***ers here. And, I don't think any bass being built now will ever command the value of the vintage Ps and Js (not that I'd want one anyways).
So, I say way to go man!
That's a very nice color. I love it! What is it called?
Yes it is, I got it for $1150 and was totally shocked when it arrived in a double gig bag... very nice.
She will stretch her legs tonight in rehearsal at full volume... I cant wait!!!!
... and it's the model with the built in thumb rest!!!
Um, so I just got a little freaked out by a gig I have on Friday.
Now, I'm not normally superstitious, but the show is on Friday the 13th. And if that wasn't enough, it's at a summer camp...
Does this situation sound familiar to anyone else???

Had to cure my P GAS somehow, and was too late to get Terry's DSed one. So.... considering my love for Fralin's J pups, I figured I'd like their Ps as well. And, I'm also not too fond of the wide-nutted P necks. So, I went with this one

I'll tune her a step down or BEAD, dunno yet.
This'll be my first "real" P bass in 20 years of playing. And, I've NEVER used one in a band setting, just tinkered at home on a Squier and a crappy Kay copy. I've always said that "I'm not a P bass guy". Well, it's time to see what all the hubbub has been about for the last half decade or so.
It still is 5J #01...it's just not 3TB anymore..
I figured if I threw out to the Forums that I was having it re-finished I would be told it was Blasphemy and I didn't want to hear it. Ive wanted to do this for a while.
It's never going to be for sale and it's already paid for itself 10 times over...so I took the plunge and had it redone I love how it looks and it still sounds phenomenal.
To me personally and I know not everyone agrees the value of any Bass is primarily in the neck. I would NEVER mess with the neck on this one.
All in all Im happy with my decision now for a PG choice!!!!![]()

I know it's not a Lakland, but perhaps you should consider one of these for that gig...
