That's not vanity bud..... I want pity LOL!! Get's me better deals when I'm working up something from the FS/FT section.

"Please accept my meager offer :crying:, have you seen my pic? :bawl:"

Edit: umm... I've actually tried to change that pic about 5 times since I joined w/ no luck :-(, can't get the file size small enough for some friggin' reason!

Yeah, I'm still kicking my @55 for not snagging Markus' DPLEII a few months back, he's kicking his own @55 for selling it too :D.

Yeah, as I said in an earlier post... I loved the Fralin jazz pups in my JO5 (now gone), but those are J pups. I also love my 4-76 w/ a single DS in the MM position.

So...... any more opinions/input?? Patience is obviously NOT a strength of mine :D.

So are you playing the 4-76 B-E-A-D?

hmmm......try setting the preamp differently...what kinda sound are you after?

I think the preamp might be part of the problem-the fact that there is one, I mean. I've always seemed to get better results with passive basses. I'm a little OCD, so I prefer a "set and forget" approach. I like to run the preamp flat for the most part, but I find that my bass is too dark sounding that way. With the treble control dimed there's too much and any other setting seems like not quite enough. I love the look and playability (neck) of this bass but the sound isn't quite doing it for me. :(

Good morning guys.... Seems like I missed an interesting night last night, lol. Anyway, might be laying down some bass parts today (definitely by the weekend) on some new songs for our album. Fun stuff!

Uhhh....This reminds me I have to finish writing some tunes and demo them today for our upcoming recording. Sometimes getting motivated to write stuff can be very hard.
