OK, just did a massive rehearsal with the DS Glaub and the 55-94... HOLY COW, the Dark Star is as big a P-Bass sound as I have ever heard... AWESOME!!!!
Now the 55-94 has a great sound, but I think it will be bulletproof with flats. Now, whee do I get a Lakland Flat "B" string? I have a set of fours and think I'm gonna go ahead and change em out.
Anybody want to trade a set of slightly used DR Silver Stars 45/125 for a set of flats?

I've got a set of NEW super long 5er Chromes that I'll GIVE you if you sell the DS Glaub to me.

Deal?

"Nessie"....I love it on sooooo many levels!

I dub thee Nessie! Will spill some french wine on you when you're finally here *sigh*

"Vadar" (Markus' special transcription but I like it) was a close second

Uh Oh...MMA skills...look out. What discipline JJ? Also, I may be in knoxville next week for a day or two. You up for a beer or two?

TaeKwonDo w/ some ground fighting mixed in. My strength is in striking though. Taking time off while my band is running it's course. If it ever falls thru, I'll liquidate all the unnecessary gear, and be back at it in minutes! Loved the tournaments! The endorphins were almost up there w/ gigging. So far I'm undefeated... so I'm due for a massive whoopin'. Hehehe. That's ok though, it's all for fun and the comradery always rivalled what we have here w/ the LOG. Never any big heads or sore losers.

Let's definitely get together, I know some fun places for brews.

Well..you speak for yourself Doude. I know I'm cool:D EDIT: Just saw some old pictures of myself:hiding:

major LOL!
You need to post 'em tho

How 'bout this one (sorry, don't have an action shot at hand):

That's the whole crew ( I think) of a death metal band I was playing in circa 1995, including a female flute player, two vocalists, a road technician (yes we had one!) and on and on...

a joflats 5 string set maybe?

Question: should I give the Dunn w/ it's Fralin pup a thorough try (for me that's a few months at least) or just go ahead and get on the waiting list for a new Darkstar pup and black Jeannies pickguard?? Maybe pearl to match the blocks, hmm....

Yeah, I'm still kicking my @55 for not snagging Markus' DPLEII a few months back, he's kicking his own @55 for selling it too :D.

Yeah, as I said in an earlier post... I loved the Fralin jazz pups in my JO5 (now gone), but those are J pups. I also love my 4-76 w/ a single DS in the MM position.

So...... any more opinions/input?? Patience is obviously NOT a strength of mine :D.

Nessie over Vadar huh?

This looks like a Nessie to me:
