I dunno I really dig the u-bass a lot. it is literally the only thing that I left Namm lusting after. I have a Koa/Acacia on order. I see it fitting into my lounge duo thing "eX2treme Lounge" thing really well. We cover a lot of bases there and the U-Bass will fit in nicely.
55-01 guy's - I'm really disappointed in GHS Progressives. The string to string balance is way off. What do you all like ? Anyone using Chromes ? if so which guage & length ?

I think the Ashbory's smaller size and longer useable fretboard make it more appealing. I'm gonna get one for playing at work on my breaks.
My thoughts exactly on finding out the price, except that by the time it gets here it costs 419 GBP (= 639 USD).
I'm not going to go into too much detail, as that would be unprofessional... But yeah, egos need to be checked at the door with all the other baggage. And that goes for EVERYONE.

Hahaha yeah I know... but honestly, it is unrelated. I've been kind of a "hired-gun" for a while and I want to get back to writing/recording my own material.
Heheh... think I'm going on my 9th year of saying that to myself... though I only really got back into playing in the past 4 years after taking a few years off. The beginning of every year I seem to say to myself "I'm going to really get back to recording my own stuff", and start to take some steps to make it happen, but never quite bet there.
I've actually really been itching lately and have put down some quick ideas here and there, but haven't had the time much... which I guess has been the main problem for a while (having 3 kids in just over 6 years). Hopefully, soon.
Anyway, good luck with your departure and future project. Hope it's more timely than mine

Woohoo! Got my LOG renewal package today. The CD looks great (even if my bands' name IS misspelled (two O's in bamboo), gonna listen to it in the studio tonight. Can't wait to hear everyone's contributions!!!
