I'm missing Sexual Chocolate. When she gets back from Carl, I'll polish all the fingerprints away from all of them and take some REALLY good shots.

Nice JJ! Great collection!

Markus, did you consider going with a Chi-Bucker at all over the split P?

I thought about it, but you just loose too much character in my opinion for a P bass....it would just not sound like a P bass. My 4-07 has them and I can solo the neck if I want that tone....and I have the LH3 to play with too. I'm so glad I went with the split P pickup. It uses ChiSonic technology (magnets) and is sounds like it. Great note definition, and no hum. Loved the single coil in it, but the hum was bad where I practice, and I could get they same tone soloing the neck pickup in my JOCS so it was the logical choice.

GO figure...I was sitting on my butt at ohare from about noon till 4

the gratutitous 'Ash' shot ...

I was a little iffy about the pickguard early on but it's grown on me.

Next week it get's an Audere Classic 4 band. Vol stacked on blend, Treb, Hi Mid, Lo Mid, Bass. Friends Pete & Cindy Biltoft of Vintage Vibe Guitar are back from vacation and it's time to do something about those pickups ... maybe something in a split coil based on a P-90 kinda thing ... we'll see.

Very cool! I dig that a lot!!!

Ah I gotcha, I probably would have done the same thing in your position.

Also, I missed the rocording of your 4-07, how did you go about recording it?

I just bought a Zoom H2, and trying to figure out the best way to record. The one I posted sounded pretty low level and thin, so I took it down. I'm going to try again this weekend. Sounds awesome in person, but just trying to capture it correctly.

LOVE the PG - I want one for my 55-94!!!!! Jeannies???

Ah I see. My band and I use a Line6 Toneport for our recording, so running direct in makes it easy. I'm not sure how I'd go about using one of those though. Fight the good fight man!
