Yeah...still working on it. The recordings seem kinda flat...like not dynamic as they should be. I'm sure my house isn't the best place to record though...all hard wood floors.

Yeah...still working on it. The recordings seem kinda flat...like not dynamic as they should be. I'm sure my house isn't the best place to record though...all hard wood floors.
I tried the built in mic and I tried line in going through a Rolls Personal Monitoring unit first. I didn't go straight into the Zoom unit because I thought the signal would be too week since the line in input is for running a CD/mp36 player into it. There is a mic in...I wonder it that would work with the DI out from my head.
On the note of DIs, what do you guys think of this

I don't have the money for a toneport and I don't think I'll really need all those options, will i? Just for youtube recording.

It sounded weak, like too much room not enough cab. Try the built in mic right in front of the cab.
I'll try it again. There are three settings on the side of the unit for mic level, but I think there is a finer adjustment in the software. voice sounds good, but bass seems weak. I guess I'll have to read the instructions

Yeah...I'll see if I can figure it this one out, but if not, I'll probably pick up that one. I do like the quality of the H2 for other recordings, so hopefully I can get that quality for bass.

I think that there's a low freq roll-off on them and that could be causing the thin sound. Still sounds good though!
hey guys...got my neck back from UPS.....it was sitting in the warehouse 2 buildings down from my office this whole time. What can brown do for me? Screw me over...I am done with UPS. Anyway, sorry for my rant....I put it back on my glaub last night and LOVED it. I am going to get it out for refinish at some point, I am out 5 of the next 6 weeks, so it will have to wait. Oh well
Yeah...not a fan of UPS at all, and try not to use them as much as I can. Glad your diggin' it though!

He he he! If it sounded like my hair, you wouldn't hear a thing! I went direct in, split the mono with the unit on the fly, and worked on the input levels.
