I'd rock it at the metal gig that I'm gonna try to play at the month's end. :D Im goofy that way though, or maybe I'm just itching for a good barfight, hehehe.

Works better than the mismatched, that's for true. I can't quite shake my decade or so as a designer, so the cream would work because they'd sorta match the face dots. The black works because that's sort of the default for this sort of thing. I think that either hue would be fine, so long as they match.

PS: The aforementioned 'Cali thing' is why I think this axe works. I'd definitely *not* try to rock that bass here in the 514, but I figured that the colours and such would make it a perfect axe for an outdoor seaside gig where the palm trees wouldn't be plastic.

I believe the pickups are blades.....

can anyone confirm?

I MAY be making a trip to see Carl (:ninja:) soon....maybe I can get an "inside" look at an LH3 pickup...I KNOW the CHIs are blades...

man!!! Could I really be so close?!

My lakie's birthday is 11-28 of 2000
I just took her all the way apart so pat can make his magic

Based on experience is the bart/lh3 system a pole based pickup or "blade"?

Guess I didn't leave you much choice. ;)

You can welcome Big Joe soon.

last week I just did a "webinar" for a society I am in...THAT is REALLY wierd!

you are talking to your computer and the speakerphone....70 people were "watching" and listening but I could not get their "feedback" either visually or aurally....that was REALLY strange!

I teach periodically and it is always easier to see if people are "getting it" or not....when it is "just me" I feel wierd...like you said "talking to yourself"....well (in your case) and thousands more!

I just LOL'd myself!

Thanks! Yeah...was weird over the phone...you kinda think you are talking to yourself until you hear something on the other end.

Markus, just listened to your interview since I am thinking about picking up a couple books for my nieces and nephews. Any way to get a signed copy?

Anyway, you sound exactly like my brother-in-law! I did a double-take (with my ears?) when I heard it. Are you from CA originally?

Gotta!

I agree with watching the guitarists hands.....I sit right in back of the acoustic guitar player and we do alot of stuff where we do key changes and "stops" etc....nice to watch for his hand shifts once 'n a while!!!

(psst.....but DONT tell him.....he is following ME and the drummer!)

TECHNICALLY I could, but those could be some awkward fingerings (a lot of riffs, grrr), and when you're learning ten original songs in just a few days, being able to glance at the guitarist once in a while helps....
