They keep us young...or at least we THINK we are still acting young....
but -great to have them around!

I know... I know... I need a LOGLEBG5PJ... just can't right now.
I like the trans Root Beer color and pickguard, but pickup cover AND the thumb rest...not really a fan of either of those things on their own, but together it's extra odd looking IMO.

thanks, Mr. Time Machine
BTW, the Skline in your signature might need a "y"
why's glad? Knowing you, there has to be a story behind it.

I'm thinking more like an echo...
A "Dougcho" if you will....
My 55-02D showed up yesterday and after playing her for a couple of hours last night I'm totally blown away by what a great bass she is. Having only played Lakie's in music stores before buying one used from Dub56 here on TalkBass I didn't fully appreciate what nice basses they are. Yes, the neck felt great and it was versatile but until I got her in my hands at home with my amp without the sales staff hovering only then did the real beauty of the bass come through. I couldn't be happier.
I'm pretty stunned all the way around. I can't see Gassing for anything else at this point...except maybe a Duck Dunn!
Even though I'm not really a fan of darker wood finishes, that's a pretty hot concept....although I'd love to see Trans Blue or Trans Green on it!!!

I think I'll really dig it.. not sure about other options. I'd keep it natty if I didn't have my natural fretless. Definitely a trans though.
Evan, if money is a consideration for you, you should also get a quote from Marty Bell. I think he did Ferg's JO5. He's less expensive, his wait time is less and he has just as good a rep and does stellar work.

and yes, I know that Pat does the work for Lakland, I'm just unsure of who to contact.
YOU say that for EVERYTHING!
