THAT WOULD BE UTTER PERFECTION!!!

LOL, well you ARE pretty vain.... you were too good to even look at the HOT Knoxville ladies that we encountered at Barleys! Like you think I don't realize that you LOVE armpit hair on a woman!
I kinda like the newer upper horn... the older DJ had a... I dunno... a "less than excited" look to it, LOL.
so the only difference is in the curve of the horn... cool

Awesome...how have you been bro?
I wasn't sure at first...but it grew on me.
now...clarify - do WHAT with Shadowfax???![]()
I'm afraid to even assume things that came to your mind... well, I'm intrigued... but afraid too REAL tasty!
you must have had that repainted......me likey alot!!!
you probably know I returned from Austria last week... You're going to Zuerich which is pretty close. Well EVERYTHING is close in that part of Europe, LOL. A few [dozen] pints would be cool!
No big bass news really.
The neck on the 55-94 is changing its relief swiftly and drastically. I had to adjust it twice this month, last time ysterday, while Nessie asked for no adjustment whatsoever.
Also, I have redone copper foil shielding on Nessie that I had removed trying to figure if it was hindering any highs.
Also, tried GHS nickel flats on Nessie. I only have a 4-string set so the B is still a round Lakland stainless. Odd...
The flat nickels are a tad brighter tho.
What's new with you?
It all about rounding....mm are MUCH more precise than inches.....or fractions thereof...
they TRIED in teh mid-70s to convert us to metric...and I had 2 years or so in grade school where we only did metric....I guess us thick-headed americans could not switch and we were back on the english system again!
... but nevermind... I was just trying to be friendly and helpful (which I was) etc.etc.Well, a lot of travel for work. On the road more than I like, but I still have a job. I am in Europe for a couple of weeks and then China for 3 weeks.
Bass wise, the 55 bug has bit me. I have 3 deluxes now, and wishing I had the coin to nab shadowfax. Nice basses, but no time to play them...lol
Have you tried Chromes on Nessie?
what do you do for your job? Is it Switzerland and GB only in Europe?
The 55 is great stuff! I love it. The only thing, the neck of the 44 is more comfy for me, just tailored for my hands
No, haven't tried chromes yet. I'm trying to get more highs out of her (she's absolutely stunning in the low end), but also trying to protect the fretboard, thus experimenting with flats
woah......PM me on who gave which quote...just interested that is all...
I am a hydraulic engineer, but now I am just management...lol. My sole function is to go to meetings. If things go well in the UK and Switzerland, we have one more set of meetings outside of Paris, but that is dependent on the the other meetings.
If you want more highs, I would say try chrome flats. They kill. I have them on my Glaub and will only use those now.
oh, when I was in the USA one of the members of the group was a guy from a pump plant here in Kataysk (it's near Kurgan). I remember him having most trouble with visas and everything, because he had been in Iraq, Iran and all those 'inconvenient' places. His passport was full of countries.
What brand of chromes do you choose and why? Have you tried other brands chrome flats as well?
he means D'Addario Chromes , you need xtra long scale for a 55 series though. im sure someone here know a good place to get themoh, when I was in the USA one of the members of the group was a guy from a pump plant here in Kataysk (it's near Kurgan). Well, maybe I should modify the Darryl Jones Club thread and add the new 44-75 (The Lakland Darryl Jones / 44-75 Club)...
