FWIW, I just received payment for my '51 Tele a few hours ago. I sold it to an eBayer that asked "what else I had?" Never listed it anywhere , sorry guys.

Let me say this LOUDLY!!!! THIS BASS IS "THE" P BASS TO BEAT ALL P BASSES!!!! With the Fralin split Tele (hum-cancelling) pickup (installed by yours truly---watch out Carl.... NOT...LOL), the Tele acquired more bottom like it's predecessor the split-P bass of the late '50s, but still had plenty of that aggressive bite and growl that the single coil Tele basses are famous for! I think if Kevin had put this p'up in it, he'd never have sold it to me!!

BTW, I just dropped my prices on the 2 US Lakies that I have in the classifieds... GAS is a horrible thing!!

Yup.....pretty similar......

She's so nasty!! Her dual Chisonics and LH-3 are perfect for Third Obsession stuff! She'll be used for the 3 song EP that we're currently recording.

Thanks, but my impressive collection is dwindling , but all my working basses will be staying, and that's what matters. Plus, I have my eye on another 5er that would get regular gig-time . And, I just got another Bergantino . I'll have a NV-425 to set next to my NV-215 at the coffeehouse gigs .

what's up with Lakland now? I emailed brian&leo @lakland 3 days ago for replacement parts and have no reponse till today...is it because of the new management?

Before Lakland moved management to Hanson, someone always respond to my email very...very quickly & promptly.

I don't think it's because of new management, they've just been really busy lately getting all the limited edition Skylines prepped and out the door. Also, wasn't three days ago a Saturday?

I don't know where you live but I am 12 hours ahead of US Central time.
Well, I emailed them Monday morning, and its wednesday 08-11-2010 now.
